SUMMER EXTRAS

FAIRYTALE BALLET CAMP
July 8 and 10 (Tu and Thur) 10a-12:30p
Ages 5-8 years old- various levels welcome
 
Tuition per workshop: $35/ Tuition for both dates: $60

Fairytale Ballet Camp will offer a fun and educational introduction to ballet's most famous classic full length stories for young children. Workshop includes a ballet class, storytelling time, ballet fun facts, video-viewing time of sections of the ballet of the day, learning choreographic elements from the full length ballet, and a

related craft activity. Note: fairytale ballets will vary each workshop

level IV-VI ballet intensive
JUNE 30 & JULY 1, 2, 3, 5 from 10a-3:00p
Tuition: $360 for week/ $80 per individual day
   
*Current students sign up for level placement from Fall 2024-Spring 2025. New students must take a placement class to attend prior to June 1.*

Level IV-VI Intensive includes daily technique class, conditioning/strengthening, pre-pointe and/or pointe, varied classes in variations, character dance, pantomime, modern/jazz/contemporary,

as well as a educational dance related discussion for the day

(all of the listed may not be offered on all dates)

Optional End of Intensive Showcase:

Signups will be available if interested in participating

in a summer intensive in-studio showcase on Saturday, July 5.

Participation in all days of intensive, in addition to 45 min rehearsal 3:00-3:45pm is required to participate.

FUNDAMENTALS OF BALLET
FOR ADULTS
Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm 
8 week session: July 1-August 19
Session Fee: $150

Adult Fundamentals class is geared toward absolute beginners, introducing ballet basics & how-tos before starting our adult beginner ballet class. Read more about this session on our

JULY 7, 9, 11 (MWF) from 10a-2:00p
Tuition: $180 for week/ $70 per individual day
 
*Current students sign up for level placement from Fall 2024-Spring 2025. New students must take a placement class to attend prior to June 1.*

Ballet II-III Intensive includes technique class, stretch class, varied classes in character dance, pantomime, modern/jazz/contemporary,

as well as a educational dance related discussion for the day

(all of the listed may not be offered on all dates)

Optional End of Intensive Showcase:

Signups will be available if interested in participating

in a summer intensive in-studio showcase on Friday July 11.

Participation in all days of intensive, in addition to 45 min rehearsal 2:00-2:45pm is required to participate.

ADULT/TEEN ballet intensive
FRIDAY, AUGUST 22 from 5:00-8:30p (tuition for day $60)
SATURDAY, AUGUST 23 from 10a-3p (tuition for day $80)
SUNDAY,  AUGUST 24 from 10a-3p (tuition for day $80)

Tuition for all  3 dates: $200
 
*Must have prior ballet experience: beginner, intermediate, or advanced. This Intensive is not recommended for Absolute Beginners;
several months to a year or more of ballet technique training
highly recommended.

Optional End of Intensive Showcase:

Anyone interested may sign up for a Showcase on Sunday, August 24.  Participation in showcase will require registration in all 3 days of intensive and additional rehearsals at the end of each day.

ADULT BALLET TECHNIQUE 
FRIDAY WORKSHOPS
FRIDAYS JULY 18, 25, & AUG 1 from 5:30-7pm
EACH WORKSHOP: $25
*Must have prior ballet experience: beginner, intermediate, or advanced. This Intensive is not recommended for Absolute Beginners; 
several months to a year or more of ballet technique training highly recommended.

Adult Ballet Workshops will delve into detailed aspects of ballet technique: turns, jumps, adagio/port de bras.  Refine and improve your technique with related exercises and instruction specific to each ballet skill with these workshops. Each workshop will begin with a ballet barre warmup, then work through key exercises, tips and important technical elements to feel more confident and perform better in your ballet class!

July 18 - Adagio Workshop (focusing on elegance of slow movements and arm port de bras and epaulement)

July 25- Turning Workshop (learn all about turning- how to and various types of turns)

Aug 1- Jumping Workshop (find out how to improve jumps with strength & agility)
